Another Rollercoaster Season For Reds!
This is the definitive review of the 2006/2007 season from Liverpool FC in which the Reds finish third in the Premiership after a season full of ups and downs but somehow lacked consistency. Among the pick of the highlights is the Community Shield triumph over Chelsea in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff including a 2-0 win over the Blues in the league fixture at Anfield and a magnificent hat trick from striker Peter Crouch in a 4-1 win at home against Arsenal. The real highlight for the Reds was progressing to the UEFA Champions League Final and during their run on the road to Athens is a unforgettable 2-1 win away at Barcelona in the Nou Camp, then they easily past PSV Eindhoven in the quarter finals and a penalty shootout triumph over Chelsea in a dramatic semi final second leg tie at Anfield secured a place in the final. This DVD has highlights of all the goals from all the games from the Premiership, FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Champions League with interviews from the manager and the players and archive from BBC, ITV and Sky Sports at two and a half hours full of action, drama and suspense. There are some moments to relive with twists, turns and goals that will have you on the edge of your seat which should make entertaining viewing for neutrals and Reds alike.
No Trophy!!
There may have been no trophy in 2006/07 but the dvd makes it look much better. With wins against chelsea and Arsenal plus getting to the champions league final again does help. It shows highlights of every game, which is what i like pus it has the youth cup final between us and man utd, but it doesnt really count as a trophy.

another excellant season under rafa and the reds reached yet another final. this dvd is very very good, the quality of it is exquisite and it contains every goal for and against the reds. the chance to see xabis and aggers wondergoals again and again is not to be turned down, aswell as seeing riise smack shot after shot at the goal. the negative side to the dvd is that for some reason, if you have saw previous seasons dvds, you find yourself skipping through and fastforwarding alot. the main problem is the unhappy ending, but that cannot be helped by the producers of the dvd, it contains exclusive interviews with many of the players, which are worth a listen. if you dotn support liverpool then this dvd is a complete waste of time for you and you probably will not enjoy it, however if you follow liverpool or contain a soft spot for them, then purchase this dvd right away, you still get the goosebumps when dirk scores the winning penalty, every time you see it. worth the money.
